Ministry Mission

Rev. Jason L. Whitley is a native of Alexandria, Virginia. He received and accepted his calling to the gospel ministry at an early age in life. It was that calling that has cultivated his passion for God’s people. On December 10, 2017, Rev. Whitley was ordained by Rev. Dr. Albert P. Jackson at the Ebenezer Baptist Church Alexandria, Virginia. It has been his passion for God’s people that has led him to study coursework in Humanities, Religion, Philosophy, and Sociology while attending Virginia Union University, University of Maryland, and Liberty University. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from the Samuel Dewitt Procter School of Theology at Virginia Union University in Richmond, VA.

       While currently enrolled in a Doctor of Ministry Degree program at the United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio, he has continued to maintain a strong community relationship as a willing and dedicated servant to his community. Rev. Whitley served in ministry for more than 30 years as and currently serves his church as an assistant to his Pastor (Associate Leader). He has previously served as Director of Missions and Evangelism outreach program, Brotherhood and Men’s Ministry Leader, Youth Ministry Pastor, Youth and Adult bible school Teacher, and as Superintendent of the Sunday School Ministry throughout his service to the church. Rev. Jason L. Whitley is a passionate writer and bestselling co-author. His first book entitled “Fathers Matter” was published in August of 2021 and was an Amazon bestseller in five categories. While his second book entitled “The Associate Leader: Dedicated to our Calling, Dedicated to our God” and his " My Fatherhood Journal" for men are available now.

       Finally, Rev. Whitley is married to Ebony Whitley, and it is with great joy that he recognizes and honors the scripture that states in Proverbs 18:22 that, “He who finds a wife finds a good thing and finds favor with the Lord.” Together they serve as Co-parents to Jason, Jahne', Joshua, and James Whitley. Rev. Jason L. Whitley loves God, his family, the church, and loves that he is called to share the “good news” of Jesus to a broken world.
